None of my torrents are being downloaded
The az-calc guide you used was badly flawed when it was made and is over 6 years old. Upload slots: Global maximum: 60 should be lowered further if you lower upload speed much Per torrent: Not "checked" it's not nearly as important as the global max upload slots. Half-open connection value: 10 if you're not firewalled in qBT, even 10 may be overkill.
With 60 total upload slots, that puts an upper limit on how many active torrents you can have at once -- 60, with 1 upload slot for each.
Alright, So I still have this problem. Now I'm not sure what to do. It works sometimes but sometimes it does not work with downloading, even though I have seeds. Qbittorrent isn't even letting me move torrents around, I usually put torrents in a "downloading" folder then I put the finished torrents in a folder marked "Unsorted by Filebot" using the torrent program, But when I use the option "Set Location" in Qbittorrent nothing happens.
That and my torrents never check it seems, It takes forever to check if the check bar even moves at all. I don't know whats going on. Now I cant cant even get qbittorrent to close using the end process command with task manager. I have used qBittorent for some time successfully, but recently have experienced the same problem. I appear to be set up correctly but suddenly am getting 0 upload and 0 download speeds.
Although my computer registers clean when I do a thorough scan, I've noticed problems with other software programs not functioning correctly. Could I possibly have some type of virus that my Windows Defender is not picking up on? I've already removed malware with Malwarebytes.
Cleared it out and started downloading again straight away. I still had a lot of space left on my hard drive. However, due to all the problems with my inability to download torrents and similar problems with everything else, I finally bit the bullet and reloaded Windows 10 from scratch, losing practically everything in the process, including important files that I thought were personal.
I no longer have that add new torrent window where I can change download directory, add to top of queue, change label. Same issue with sending torrents automatically to Labels-Hidden.
There is no option to save file too just the Utorrent skin with nothing in active. It sends the torrent to user-downloaded and stops you must force start. This began with the update 3. Please fix this as soon as possible or people will not figure it out.
I just got so frustrated none of my torrents were downloading. I don't care if you're nice but, you better be good. I have to say - I cannot understand your use-case I might add the new torrents that are automatically added at the end now have a priority of Bw. Alloc of "Metadata". Had the same issue. When you extend your desktop to a second screen and the popup window for torrent information automatically goes to that second screen, if the screen resolution is set to single or duplicated screens again- then the window has no place to go which forces utorrent to automatically place the new torrent stopped in the folder hidden in the computers default download location.
To fix this issue, simply extend your desktop, add a torrent, then drag the torrent info screen back to display 1. Once that's done you can revert your display settings to whatever you like and all program behaviour will return to its previous state.
Would like to bump this to say OccularPanda's suggestion above helped. I indeed toyed around with the primary-monitor setup on a dual-monitor rig and Utorrent was throwing the window somewhere offscreen it seems. I have the same issue. But I have unplugged my second monitor and lent it out to a friend.

I am still trying to get all of the details down, so I greatly appreciate your help! Just recently my bittorent crashed causing me to reopen the program. Then when I tried to redownload the torrent this pops-up;.
This torrent you tried to add is already in the list of torrents. Do you want to add a tracker from it? Hi, I'm having the same problem however when i expand the 'Labels' tab on my left menu, it tells me i have 2 "No label' and cannot see the progress of the download of stop them or anything Existing user? Invisible torrent? Start new topic. Recommended Posts. The ETA column will, of course, assist in how long the download will take for a set speed.
You can download Slackware with your proxy enabled if you wish. If you get a "Connection timed out", I'd guess the proxy is guilty I might be completely wrong though.
It seems to have worked. How long will this work though? Once you're satisfied everything is working as it should, then you can delete those 2 files you moved - it's not like they're HDD space hoggers. Each should only be around Thanks for your help. It seems to be solved. If not I will just repeat at every failure.
Now to fix the new problem. Windows randomly stopping recognizing my external hd. I'm back with the findings, settings reset didn't help much. BUT I found something interesting Slackware has been downloading second day without any issues through the proxy.
However, rarbg tracker still has Connection timed out issues. I found this old thread but there was no solution. Slackware has been downloading second day without any issues through the proxy.
Does rarbg have "Connection timed out" without the proxy? I'm guessing your proxy is the cause.
